Nothing Phone CEO Carl Pei clarified that the purpose of this feature is to protect users from unwanted scenarios.  

Nothing portfolio contains Phone 1, Phone 2, Ear (2) Black, and Ear (Stick). The brand recently launched the second-generation smartphone after getting a positive response for its first smartphone globally.

CMF is a new sub-brand of UK-based Nothing dubbed as Colour, Material and Finish in left to right order. It aims to provide affordable devices such as wireless earbuds, smartwaches, etc. 

It is available in two colours – Black and White. There are three variants in Black model – 8+128GB, 12+256GB, and 12+512GB. There are two variants in White – 12+256GB and 12+512GB. The price of Phone (2) starting at Rs 44,000. 

"With the US being a very Apple-dominated market with no real option for people looking for an alternative, it represents a good opportunity for Phone (2)," Pei was quoted as saying.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 features an 18-bit Image Signal Processor (ISP) capable of capturing over 4,000 times more camera data than the ISP used on Phone (1).

Nothing officially reveals Phone 2 teaser. The premium phone is expected to launch in Summer 2023. It will officially sell on Flipkart in India.

Nothing Phone (1) features a transparent back with a unique design composed of over 400 components, with 100 per cent recycled aluminium frame. Dual-side Gorilla Glass 5 provides toughness, while advanced vibration motors make touch responses life-like in the device, said the company.

New Delhi, July 14 (IANS) As Carl Pei-led consumer electronics company Nothing unveiled its first smartphone called 'Phone (1)' this week, several creators in the country, especially from the South, took to various social media platforms, posting their displeasure with the brand.

The smartphone can record up to 4K video. The launch event was being recorded on Nothing Phone (1). Nothing phone (1) will be available in black colour.

The primary camera uses a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, while the ultrawide unit has a field of view of 114 degrees. The camera system has dual OIS and EIS, and one would also be able to record videos with 1 billion colours.

The company said the smartphone will be manufactured at a facility in Tamil Nadu. The upcoming smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon mobile platform. It is said to be the company's first smartphone and a second device in the overall product ecosystem of the brand.

Nothing Phone 1 is expected to pack several features. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm chipset. Nothing Phone 1 could come with a translucent case.

CEO and Co-founder Carl Pei has already confirmed plans to launch Nothing phone (1). Nothing OS offers a new experience for Android.

Nothing has already partnered with Qualcomm to use its Snapdragon chipsets for its upcoming devices. Pei said, “Back on Android.” Last year, Nothing had launched its first product.

Nothing is all set to launch its first product as Nothing Ear 1. The earphone was initially scheduled to launch in June 2021. Nothing has confirmed that it’s going to launch its products in India.
