The Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday (October 18, 2021) announced the date sheet for Term 1 (2021-22) CBSE board exams of Class 12 students. CBSE examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj informed the first term board exams for class 12 is scheduled to begin from December 1.

The Central Bureau of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday (May 1) announced a policy for the tabulation of marks for cancelled Class 10 board exams 2021 based on the internal assessment conducted by schools. The CBSE had announced the cancellation of class 10 board exams and the postponement of class 12 exams in view of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amid rising cases of coronavirus in the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) earlier this month announced cancellation of class 10th board exams and postponement of class 12 board exams.

As per the new circular, competency-based questions would be about 30 per cent for Classes 9 and 10 and 20 per cent for Classes 11 and 12. CBSE explained that the competency-based questions could be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions, Case-Based Questions, Course-Based integrated questions or any other types.
