CESL has installed solar-powered charging station in Leh City
10 units of specially-customized Hyundai Kona EVs are delivered to Leh authorities
The charging plaza uses 100 kW solar panel to generate electricity
CESL to setup 810 electric vehicle charging stations in the country
The network will cover over 10,000 km of highways and expressways
A total of 16 highways and expressways will be covered under the project
Tata Motors has emerged as the lowest bidder in the mega tender for 5,450 electric buses
This tender allows state agencies to purchase mobility as a service
Buses will benefit from the central government subsidy offered under the remodelled FAME II scheme
Each charging and battery swapping facility will be installed at 14 locations
The charges for usage of location will be paid by CESL to Delhi Transport Corporation
Availability of charging points will be visible on ONE DELHI app
LED bulbs will be distributed at a highly subsidised rate at Rs 10 across 2,579 villages in five states.
These states include Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
CESL will continue to provide 7-Watt, and 12-Watt energy-efficient LED bulbs.
CESL and HPCL will jointly set up EV charging stations in many cities.
These cities include Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Pune.
The stations will support charging with fast, slow or moderate speed capacity.
