Sagar, a five-year-old child, fell into a borewell in a village in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district around 4 pm on Monday. Continuous efforts were made to get the child out. But he could not be removed safely.

A three-year-old girl fell in a 225 feet-deep borewell in Munger district of Bihar. The girl is reportedly stuck at a depth of 48 feet and rescuers have managed to get an oxygen pipe to her to ensure no breathing trouble.

A two-year-old boy who fell into an over 100-feet deep borewell while playing in Khamarpur Baijia village of Sirsaganj area here, was on Saturday rescued, police said.
