Now, that the Ayodhya verdict is out, Chief Justice Gogoi has four other important judgments to deliver before he retires from office on November 17. The bench headed by him will deliver the verdicts in just three days - from November 13 to 15 - as the apex court was closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The hearings had originally been scheduled to end on October 18, and then later rescheduled for October 17, with the top court expected to announce a verdict before the Chief Justice demits office on November 17.
The judges are likely to take the oath of office on September 23 (Monday). On August 30, the apex court collegium had recommended names of chief justices and high court judges for the appointment to the top court in order to fill the vacant posts. The collegium led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had considered the names of the said four chief justices as apex court's judges.
