CNG price News
Indraprastha Gas Ltd, the city gas license holder for the national capital and adjoining cities, hiked the CNG price by Re 1 per kg to Rs 75.09 in Delhi last month.
The tax helps the government to raise more resources to subsidise the prices of LPG and CNG for consumers.
After Mumbai, now the price of CNG and PNG has come down in Delhi as well. The new prices came into effect from 6 am today. Prices also fell in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
Similarly, CNG price has been cut by Rs 7 per kg in Karnataka and by Rs 6 in other areas, the company said in a statement.

From today the countrymen have got a big relief. After the approval of the cabinet, the prices of CNG-PNG were reduced due to the new formula. CNG became cheaper by Rs 8 in Mumbai and the price of PNG also fell by Rs 5.
CNG prices are increasing in Delhi from today. The increasing rates of CNG will be implemented. There is an increase of 95th paise on one kg of CNG.
IGL increases CNG prices in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad.
New CNG prices will effective from 6 Am on Dec 17.

Delhi Petrol Dealers Association (DPDA) has decided to stop the sale of CNG in Delhi from 6 am to 10 pm on 10 August to protest against the delay in reimbursement of electricity bills to CNG dealers.

City gas distributors have been periodically raising prices since October last year when domestic as well as international gas prices started to climb as economies world over recovered from the pandemic-induced slowdown.
The price revision comes amidst rising prices of the natural gas at source both internationally as well as for domestically drilled gas. Rising prices have forced suppliers and distributors to cut down on industrial supplies since the past many weeks.
IGL has increased the prices of CNG in other areas adjoining Delhi.
CNG is now selling at Rs 86.07 per kg in Rewari.
In Karnal and Kaithal, the gas price has increased to Rs Rs 84.27 per kg.
CNG is now priced at Rs 75.61 per kg in Delhi.
CNG is priced at Rs 78.17 per kg in Noida.
CNG is retailing at Rs 86.07 per kg; Rs 84.27 per kg in Karnal and Kaithal.
This is the third hike in the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) since April 6.
CNG will now cost Rs 76 a kg in and around Mumbai.
However, there will be no increase in the domestic PNG price.
CNG will now sell at Rs 60.81 per kg.
CNG was previously selling at Rs 60.01.
Meanwhile, the prices of commercial LPG have been hiked for the second time in a month.
MGL has increased the basic price of CNG by Rs 2.50/kg.
The rate of domestic PNG has been increased by Rs 1.50/SCM.
The revised PNG and CNG rates are applicable for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
