New Delhi: India-born CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella today said developers and entrepreneurs from India are playing a key role in driving innovation -- both in the country and outside -- and the company wants to be the platform for creators here.

Indian security agencies are unable to decrypt some of the communication on platforms like WhatsApp to readable formats for various reasons such as technical as well as legal and regulatory policy, Parliament was informed on Friday.

"Our ministry has written to all chief ministers to allow mobile towers on state government buildings. It will boost the coverage and capacity of service providers and help counter call drop problem," Prasad told reporters here.

With the US probing TCS and Infosys for alleged visa rule violations, Communications and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said the government will intervene if the need arises.

"Revenue target for BE 2014-15 under 1275-other communication service is Rs 45,471 crore," Communications and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
