Companies have raised nearly Rs 26,000 crore from the issuance of bonds on the NSE's newly launched electronic book mechanism platform in less than two months.
NCDs are loan linked bonds that can not be converted into stock and usually offer higher interest rates than convertible debentures.
Fund mobilisation by listed firms through preferential allotments of shares surged four-fold to Rs 2,538 crore during January over the preceding month.
