Earlier, CONMEBOL had confirmed that Copa America will not be played in Argentina in view of the current COVID-19 circumstances.
In a statement published on its official website, CONMEBOL said the vaccination programme would prioritise each of the national squads, coaches, officials and other workers taking part in the Copa America to be played in Argentina and Colombia from June 13 to July 10.
The first two rounds of qualifiers were scheduled to take place in late March before being postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak.
The rescheduled tournament would be played between June 11 and July 11, 2021.
According to CONMEBOL, the outbreak could have an impact on South American national teams that have members in Europe and if they are put in quarantine, they would have to stop playing.
