The mortal remains of 35-year-old Delhi police head constable Ram Kumar Meena, who was killed in a courtroom firing, were consigned to flames in his ancestral village at Nanki ka bas near Indergarh village on the outskirts of the city here today.

In the latest incident showing Deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, a police constable was shot down by a group of unknown persons inside a police post after he refused to give them water for consuming alcohol.
