Coolie No. 1 is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. It is a remake of superhit 1995 release of the same name starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.

Florian, in the past, has worked with names such as Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Yami Gautam and Sara Ali Khan. The versatile artist has once again collaborated with Sara Ali Khan.

'Coolie No.1' will release on Amazon Prime Video on December 25, 2020. The original was also helmed by David Dhawan. It featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead role. 

Earlier, 'Coolie No.1' was set to release in May but due to the pandemic outbreak, it has been pushed towards the second half of the year. 

"If the shoot call time is 9 to 9, he will reach at 8 and everyone needs to be there by 9. So yeah, I have to always be on time," he added.

The film is a remake of David Dhawan's 1995 hit, "Coolie No.1". The original film starred Karisma Kapoor and Govinda, while the new one features Varun along with Sara Ali Khan.

The writer of the remake Farhad Samji took to Instagram and shared an on-set video of the first day of shooting which is happening in Bangkok, Thailand at present.
