As per the latest health bulletin, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases across Delhi has now increased to 1,60,016, of which, 11,594 are still active. The national capital has so far conducted 14,12,363 COVID-19 tests, 19,435 being done in the last 24 hours. There are 5,791 people who are under home-isolation.

As of Sunday, 4,196 people have succumbed to the fatal virus. The COVID-19 death rate in Delhi stands at 2.75 per cent. The national capital in the last 24 hours tested 10,709 COVID-19 samples, that includes, 3,024 RT-PCR tests and 7,685 rapid antigen tests. Delhi government said that there are currently 5,762 patients under home isolation.

Delhi conducted a total of 18,894 (6472 RT-PCR & 12,422 antigen) tests in the last 24 hours. As per the latest health bulletin, there are 5,598 people under home isolation, which is 75 up from Tuesday. There are 3,351 patients still being treated at COVID-19 hospitals, and 10,612 beds are vacant.

Jain further said that there is an increase in hospital admissions which is also due to the patients coming from outside Delhi. Delhi's COVID-19 tally by Sunday (August 9, 2020) evening has increased to 1,45,427, of which, 10,729 are active cases while 4,111 have succumbed to the virus.
