Centre has asked Kerala to provide updated Covid-19 data daily. Centre said that the state reporting figures after a gap of five days have skewed India's key pandemic monitoring indicators. Kerala Health minister Veena George accused the government of spreading misinformation.

28,591 new COVID-19 cases were registered in India in last 24 hours With 338 deaths, the total fatality count reached 4,42,655

India's COVID-19 tally climbed to 87.73 lakh with 44,684 new cases in a day. The national recovery rate to 93.04 per cent on Saturday, according to the Union Health Ministry data. The death toll mounted to 1,29,188 with 520 deaths reported in a span of 24 hours.

Currently, there are 4,84,547 active cases in the country which comprise 5.55 per cent of the total caseload. The death toll reached 1,28,668 after 547 more fatalities were reported in the country in a span of 24 hours. The COVID-19 recovery rate in India surged to 92.97 per cent.

The recovered cases in India crossed 79-lakh mark taking the recovery rate to 92.64 per cent, as per the Ministry of Health data.

The recovered cases in India stands at 79,17,373 with 48,405 new discharges in the last 24 hours taking the recovery rate to 92.56 per cent.

Coronavirus cases in India surged to 81.84 lakh with 46,963 new infections being reported in a day. As per the Ministry of Health data, coronavirus case hold stands at  81,84,082.

India's COVID-19 caseload now stands at 79,46,429 out of which 6,25,857 are active cases and 72,01,070 people have recovered from COVID-19 so far.

India`s total recoveries have crossed the landmark milestone of 70 lakhs and the recovery rate stands at 90 percent. A total of 10,25,23,469 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to October 24. Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state by COVID-19 in the country with 1,40,702 total active cases.

The total coronavirus cases in the country stand at 59,03,933 with 85,362 new cases as per the Ministry of Health data. The total cases include 9,60,969 active cases, 48,49,585 cured/discharged/migrated. The recovery rate stands at 82.14 percent The death toll in India also surged to 93,979 with 1,089 deaths in the last 24 hours. The fatality rate in India stands at 1.58 percent.

India continues to see a rise in coronavirus cases as 9983 cases were reported on Monday (June 8, 2020) making it yet another highest single-day jump. The total tally in India crosses 2.50 lakh mark and te death toll stood at 7,135.
