Delhi is witnessing an increase in the number of fresh coronavirus cases over the last few days.
Delhi has recorded an increase in the number of fresh Covid-19 cases over the last few days amid a spread of the H3N2 influenza in the country.
Delhi on Sunday saw 517 fresh coronavirus cases, 56 more than the previous day.
The capital now has a Covid-19 positivity rate of 4.21 per cent.
The city's case tally has increased to 18,68,550.
A public notice in this regard is expected to be issued on the weekend

Delhi has recorded 62 fresh COVID-19 cases, the highest daily count since August 8.
The city also saw two deaths after a gap of nearly three weeks.
It had recorded a total of four COVID-19 deaths in October and five in September.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said Kejriwal had earlier advocated for decentralisation of the vaccination programme and opening it up, but after the Centre did so, he has taken a u-turn and is indulging in lies, misinformation and credit-taking.

The HC bench asked amicus curiae to study the national allocation order and give suggestions on optimal usage of tankers and minimisation of turn-around time
The bench also asked the Delhi govt to place a report on the number of RT-PCR tests conducted in the last seven days and the reasons for the reduction in the tests
The order said that no restrictions shall be imposed on oxygen manufacturers and suppliers to limit the oxygen supplies only to the hospitals of the State/ UT in which they are located
No authority shall attach the oxygen-carrying vehicles passing through the district or areas for making supplies specific to any particular district(s) or area
The HC noted that imposition of fines, for violating COVID-19 norms was proportionately small in areas where the number of coronavirus cases is on the rise
The Delhi govt announced several measures including a steep Rs 2,000 fine for not wearing masks, reservation of 80 per cent ICU beds in private hospitals
It also doubled testing centres in every district and postponement of non-critical surgeries at health facilities

The recovery rate in Delhi now stands at 89.07 percent, with 5.61 percent infection rate. The city has so far conducted more than 10 lakh tests
In the last 24 hours, 5531 RTPCR tests were conducted, with 13,944 Antigen tests, while the total number of 19,475 tests were conducted
So far, 10,13,694 tests have been conducted in Delhi, which has 5873 patients in home isolation
The Home Minister reviewed the rising number of corona cases in Delhi and discussed the situation in Delhi's containment zones. Amit Shah also discussed with the team of doctors about steps being taken for the door to door testing in the containment areas.
The Delhi government also said that it has so far lost four doctors due to COVID-19, and several other doctors and medical staff are infected with the coronavirus.
