Kieron Pollard-led Trinbago Knight Riders won the toss and opted to field first in the summit showdown of the CPL. Pollard finished with figures of four for 30 for Trinbago Knight Riders as St Lucia Zouks were bundled out for 154 runs. Lendl Simmons (84) not only smashed a quick-fire knock of 89 but also stitched a 138-run stand with Darren Bravo (58) to help his side cross the mark in just 18.1 overs.

Shimron Hetmyer scored a quickfire half-century to help Guyana Amazon Warriors book a place in the semi-finals of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Rakheem Cornwall started well for St Lucia Zouks but no other Zouks batsmen supported him. A fine performance by Warriors bowlers coupled with Hetmyer's superb show with the bat made the target and the ground look far too small.

Trinbago Knight Riders defeated St Kitts & Nevis Patriots by 59 runs in their Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 clash on Wednesday (September 2). With this defeat, Patriots are all but out of the race to book a place in the semi-final of the CPL 2020. Riders skipper Kieron Pollard rested both himself and Sunil Narine but they the Riders squad proved too strong for the Patriots, thanks to good performance by Lendl Simmons, Sikandar Raza and Pravin Tambe.

Nicholas Pooran smashed the first hundred of the 2020 CPL as Guyana Amazon Warriors swept aside St Kitts & Nevis Patriots by seven wickets. Pooran notched up an unbeaten knock of 100 runs off just 45 balls to help Guyana Amazon Warriors chase down the target with 15 balls to spare. For St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Joshua Da Silva was the highest scorer with 46-ball 59, while Dinesh Ramdin remained unbeaten at 37.

The Tridents were outstanding with the ball to bundle out the Zouks cheaply for 92 runs, but they still didn't manage to chase the target despite not even being bowled out. Hayden Walsh bagged three wickets, while Raymon Reifer claimed two wickets to help the Trindents bowl out Zouks cheaply for 92 uns. In reply, Javelle Glen and Kesrick Williams took two wickets each, while Mohammad Nabi, Zahir Khan and Roston Chase chipped in with a wicket apiece to bowl out Trindents for 89.

Glenn Phillips smashed an unbeaten knock of 79 runs as Jamaica Tallawahs clinched a comfortable 37-run win over St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. It was for the first time in this year's Caribbean Premier League (CPL) that a team won the toss, opted to bat first and clinch a win. Jamaica Tallawahs will now lock horns with Trinbago Knight Riders on Sep 1, while St Kitts & Nevis Patriots will take on Guyana Amazon Warriors later today.

Pollard's crucial half-century saw the Trinbago Knight Riders rescue a seemingly impossible two-wicket win against the Barbados Tridents. With the win, Trinbago Knight Riders have shown that they are capable of winning rest of CPL not only without Sunil Narine, they can do it without DJ Bravo. Skipper Kieron Pollard hammered nine maximums in his quick fire knock of 72 off 28 balls.

St Lucia Zouks’ captain Daren Sammy won the toss and opted to bowl first in the 15th match of the 2020 CPL. Mohammad Nabi finished with his career-best figures of five for 15--the third-best in Caribbean Premier League (CPL) history. Najibullah Zadran and Roston Chase were the top scorers for Zouks in their 111-run chase with 33 and 27 runs, respectively.

Barbados Tridents registered their second win of the ongoing 2020 CPL with a 36-run triumph over Jamaica Tallawahs on Wednesday. Kyle Mayers smashed a blistering 59-ball 85 runs as Tridents posted a score of 148 for seven in their stipulated 20 overs. Jamaica Tallawahs were restricted to a score of 112 for nine, with Nkrumah Bonner being the top scorer for the side with 31 runs.

Indian leg-spinner Pravin Tambe created history on Wednesday (August 26) by becoming the first Indian to play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The 48-year-old Tambe made his debut for CPL side Trinbago Knight Riders after replacing an injured Sunil Narine in the Kieron Pollard-led team. Tambe picked up one wicket in his first over to make his debut memorable. He delivered a wrong'un to dismiss Afghanistan batsman Najibullah Zadran in the 11th over.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots registred a comforable six-wicket win over Barbados Tridents to record their first win of Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 on Tuesday (August 25). Patriots captain Rayad Emrit won the toss and elected to bowl first. Fast bowler Sohail Tanvir was wayward from the word go but Alzarri Joseph showed some accuracy.

Jamaica Tallawahs defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by five wickets in their Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 clash at Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, on Tuesday (August 25). For Tallawahs, Fidel Edwards bowled superbly at the top and the death and spinners Mujeeb-ur-Rahman and Sandeep Lamichhane joined hands to claim four wickets together. The chase was not easy for Tallawahs but cameos by Russell and Bonners made sure that Tallawahs go home with a victory in thier bag.

Darren Bravo and Kieron Pollard performed superbly to help the Trinbago Knight Riders register a comfortable 19-run win over Barbados Tridents in their Hero CPL 2020 clash on Monday (August 24). Tridents won the toss and decided to field first and they started well as the first boundary for Riders came only in the fourth over. Riders' explosive opener Sunil Narine didn’t get off the mark until the fifth. The Knight Riders, however, started to score freely after the fourth over and managed to score 45/1 at the end of Powerplay.

Guyana Amazon Warriors created history by recording the lowest successful defence in Hero Caribbean Premier League history on Saturday as they defeated Jamaica Tallawahs by 14 runs. After a superb batting show in the Powerplay, the Amazon Warriors lost 10 wickets for just 62 runs as spinners Mujeeb-ur-Rahman and Sandeep Lamichhane ran amok. But last year’s finalists held their nerves during fielding and succeeding in claiming bursts of 3/4 and 4/25 to win the match.

Chasing a revised target of 47 in five overs in a rain-hit tie, St Lucia Zouks posted a score of 50 for three to clinch win. Johnson Charles (35) and Jason Holder (27) helped Barbados Trindents post 131/7 after opting to bat first before rain cut short their innings. Roston Chase and Scott Kuggeleijn bagged two wickets each, while Mohammad Nabi and Mark Deyal claimed a wicket each for St Lucia Zouks

Kieran Powell has joined the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 as a replacement for Fabian Allen. Powell joined the Patriots squad ahead of their match against the Guyana Amazon Warriors on Wednesday. Earlier, Powell, who is a St Kitts & Nevis national, was invited to join the Patriots squad as a training player but he will now be eligible to play for the franchise.

Jamaica Tallawahs' Asif Ali hit a stroke-filled 47 to help his side register a five-wicket win over St Lucia Zouks in their Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 clash on Wednesday. Rakheem Cornwall hit two fours in first over bowled by Oshane Thomas and Andre Fletcher was dropped by Andre Russell on just 4. Mark Deyal hit Permaul for consecutive sixes but Permaul had the last laugh as wicketkeeper Chadwick Walton grabbed a good catch.

Keemo Paul and the spinners proved Guyana Amazon Warriors’ decision to go with an unchanged XI right on Wednesday as they defeated St Kitts & Nevis Patriots by three wickets on Wednesday. Shimron Hetmyer once again batted superbly to help his side register an important victory after suffering defeat in the opening match of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020. The Patriots started nervously with Evin Lewis dropped off captain Chris Green by Ross Taylor and Chris Lynn surviving a clean bowled off Naveen-ul-Haq slower ball.

Barbados Tridents started the defence of their Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 title with a six-run win over St Kitts & Nevis Patriots on Tuesday. Sheldon Cottrell dismissed Johnson Charles with his fourth ball and than claimed the wicket of Corey Anderson to put Tridents on the mat. Kyle Mayers took a Tanvir over for 14, and Jason Holder joined in by hitting a huge six over square leg off Alzarri Joseph.

Sunil Narine’s quickfire 50 and 2/19 helped Trinbago Knight Riders start their Hero CPL 2020 in style, registering a 4-wicket win over Guyana Amazon Warriors at Tarouba on Tuesday. For Guyana, Shimron Hetmyer scored 63 runs off just 44 balls. The match was reduced to 17 overs a side due to rain and Trinbago skipper Kieron Pollard decided to field first after winning the toss in order to make use of the wet conditions.
