The Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) on Friday moved the Supreme Court seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against some office-bearers of BCCI for not complying with its order allowing Bihar to participate in Ranji Trophy and other national championships.
The Sourav Ganguly-led technical committee of the BCCI on Monday expressed its reservations with the Committee of Administrators' (CoA) recommendation to reinstate Bihar in next year's Ranji Trophy.
In the fourth status report submitted by the court- appointed COA, former cricket administrators N Srinivasan and Niranjan Shah have been described as "disqualified office bearers with vested interest", who were trying to stall the implementation of Justice R M Lodha panel reforms.
