Karnataka Police have arrested a 45-year-old man identified as Rohan Saldanha, who posed as a high-level financier, trapping big industrialists on the pretext of providing them a high-value chain. 

According to the complaint filed by the student with the Bengaluru police, the girl alleged that Narendra texted her first on the pretext of sharing academic notes. The two gradually built a friendship through constant chatting.

Radhika Yadav has been a state and national-level tennis player. Yadav was shot dead by her father, who was upset with the daughter for running a sports academy despite opposition.

Throughout the trial, accused woman Erin Patterson maintained that the poisoning of the lunch was entirely accidental. She consistently stated she hadn't intentionally sought out the poisonous mushrooms, describing the incident as a 'terrible accident'. 

The SIA's searches were meticulously conducted, strictly adhering to legal procedures, and focused on the residences of two suspects. 

The woman teacher and the student got emotionally attached during a school event and the teacher allegedly proposed a sexual relationship. When the boy resisted and began avoiding her, she reportedly involved a female friend -- not affiliated with the school -- to persuade him.

Police investigations revealed that Yashas and Harini met at a fair, exchanged numbers, and began chatting. Their relationship progressed to dating and eventually involved physical intimacy. 

Banjara Hills Sub-Inspector K Ramesh stated, "We are in the process of collecting evidence."

The police spokesperson said that the body was decomposed and appeared to be a few days old, adding that the deceased appeared to be between 30 and 35 years old.

On Sunday morning, a farmer in Gorakhpur's Patkhauli village discovered a trolley bag abandoned in his field. Inside were the severed upper and lower halves of a man's body, the police said.

"The investigating officer has arrested 64-year-old Mrs Pallavi Om Prakash. She will be produced before the magistrate," DCP, South East, Sarah Fathima said.

Locals in the Seelampur area continued their protest from last night against the stabbing of the 17-year-old boy in the area, blocking roads and holding signs demanding justice for the boy.

Speaking on the incident, RPF Senior Commandant Prakash Panda said that the murder weapon has been seized and the investigation in the case is underway.

According to police reports, the accused, who holds the position of BJP executive member, was apprehended at the scene.

Fresh details have surfaced in the horrific murder case of a Merchant Navy officer, Saurabh Rajput, 29, who was murdered by his wife, Muskan, and her boyfriend, Sahil Shukla.

The fresh case against her, under the stringent POCSO Act, came in the wake of a probe after the 12-year-old girl was found behaving in an unusual manner. 

The sleuths during the investigation also found that the Dey brothers, who were in the tannery business, had a loan of over Rs 15 crore, which they were unable to repay, leading them to decide to carry out the killings.

The police have also found Himani Narwal's mobile and jewellery in the accused's possession.
