Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Dandi March (Salt March) in Ahmedabad on Friday to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's independence. The Salt March, which was led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1930 to protest British rule in the country, was taken out from March to April.
