Arsenal have re-signed Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos for a second season-long loan, the Premier League club announced on Friday. Ceballos had a successful first stint with Arsenal and played 37 times for the club last season, sealing his place as a key midfielder in the starting lineup. The 24-year-old Spaniard also played a key role in the club`s FA Cup title run, scoring a late winner in their quarter-final victory at Sheffield United. Arsenal, who finished eighth last season, begin their league campaign at newly-promoted Fulham on September 12.

Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos felt angry at not being able to help former coach Unai Emery but is determined to prove himself to new boss Mikel Arteta and payback fans for their support.

Arsenal, who are currently standing at the fifth spot in the Premier League standings with four wins from 11 matches, will lock horns with Leicester City on Saturday at King Power Stadium.  

Arsenal have won two matches so far in the ongoing Premier League and will next face Watford on September 15.

Spain still top Group 4 with six points after four games but to reach the final round they need England to draw with Croatia in the group finale on Sunday. 

"They (Barcelona) asked me what my opinion of Dani was, and I gave it to them, and you can imagine what it was," Ferrer was quoted as saying in a news conference by ESPNFC on Monday when asked whether Barcelona have evinced interest in the Spain under-21 international.
