A SpiceJet flight from Darbhanga to Delhi on Saturday morning was cancelled due to technical issues and sunset restrictions at the airport. Earlier, a SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Mumbai handed over two passengers to the CISF after they attempted to approach the cockpit while the aircraft was taxiing forcefully.

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated a new terminal building at Tezu Airport in Arunachal Pradesh. Tezu Airport is a domestic airport located in the city of Tezu which operates via a single runway. The airport is strategically important for India as it is situated very close to the China border. The airport is developed on 212 acres of land and is capable of handling operations of ATR 72 types of aircraft. These developments will boost connectivity and help in the movement of security officials near LAC.

Expressing satisfaction over the progress of work of Darbhanga airport, Puri said that most of the work at the airport is almost complete. He added that arrival and departure halls, check-in facility, conveyor belt etc have already been installed and remaining work will be completed before end October. Puri emphasized that the Prime Minister's vision of 'Hawai chappal se hawai jahaz tak' continues to transform lives. He said that while the work on the ground is in full swing in Darbhanga, other processes are also going ahead.
