KKR will take on Mumbai Indians in their first IPL match of this season on September 23.

David Hussey accepted the offense and sanction under Article 2.23 after earlier being found not guilty by independent Code of Conduct Commissioner Adrian Anderson of breaching Article 2.18 for attempting to gain an unfair advantage during a BBL match.

Hussey represented Australia in 69 ODIs and 39 T20 internationals where he scored 1, 796 and 746 runs respectively. 

He had already retired from all other formats of cricket in 2015 and had only played in the BBL since then.
