The portfolio allocation for the Delhi government was finalised on Monday and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will not be taking charge of any department. The decision comes a day after Kejriwal took oath as Delhi chief minister for the third successive time on February 16 (Sunday) in the national capital.

Only three candidates--Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar, Devender Yadav from Badli and Abhishek Dutt from Kasturba Nagar could save their deposits.
Out of the ten West Delhi Lok Sabha constituencies, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won all--Madipur, Rajouri Garden, Hari Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Uttam Nagar, Dwarka, Matiala, Najafgarh.
North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat has 10 constituencies--Burari, Timarpur, Seemapuri, Rohtas Nagar, Seelampur, Ghonda, Babarpur, Gokalpur, Mustafabad and Karawal Nagar.
East Delhi Lok Sabha seat has 10 constituencies--Jangpura, Okhla, Trilokpuri, Kondli, Patparganj, Laxmi Nagar, Vishwas Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Shahdara.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is contesting from the New Delhi constituency, is following the initial trends in his constituency. Bharatiya Janata Party's Sunil Yadav and Congress's Romesh Sabharwal have been pitted against the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party.
BJP MP from West Delhi Parvesh Verma said that there is always a win-win in the election. I am sad that the BJP has not been able to form a government in Delhi for 21 years. This time also the Aam Aadmi Party is going to form the government. I hope that those who are going to become the new Chief Ministers of Delhi will work wholeheartedly for the people of Delhi for the next five years.
Cricketer-turned Politician BJP MP Gautam Gambir said that BJP tried its best but could not convince people of the national capital. Gautam Gambhir won his debut election from east Delhi last year congratulated Mr Kejriwal for doing good in Delhi Assembly Elections.
The AAP seems quite confident about the Delhi Assembly election results. In the initial trends, the Aam Aadmi Party seems to get an absolute majority. In the early trends released by the Election Commission of India, Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party is getting an absolute majority in the Delhi Assembly Elections, whereas The Manoj Tiwari led Bhartiya Janata Party is still seeking to even reach nearby the majority numbers.
Delhi voted massively in favour of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in assembly election 2020 in almost an identical replication of the 2015 poll winning 62 seats while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ended a distant second securing just 8 while the Congress carried on its record of scoring a zero. Today, votes will be counted for all the 70 assembly seats in Delhi where voting was held during the election last week. According to the exit poll, the AAP is winning this election with a clear majority, but suspense still remains for the actual result.
