Delhi is witnessing an increase in the number of fresh coronavirus cases over the last few days.
Delhi has recorded an increase in the number of fresh Covid-19 cases over the last few days amid a spread of the H3N2 influenza in the country.
"Death cases are very few. There have been no deaths due to COVID in LNJP in the last 24 hours. The requirement for a ventilator is also very less. But it is definitely a matter of concern whenever the positivity is more than 10 per cent," official said.
Delhi on Friday continued to witness a spike in daily Covid-19 infections.
The capital recorded 366 fresh coronavirus cases.
Delhi's daily positivity rate has now increased to 3.95 per cent.
As a precautionary measure, the school management sent all students on leave in order to contain the virus from infecting others and spreading further.
The number of cases is decreasing but the government is keeping an eye on the trend, the health minister said. He added that no prescription is required to get tested for Covid if someone shows the symptoms of the viral disease.

Delhi has recorded 62 fresh COVID-19 cases, the highest daily count since August 8.
The city also saw two deaths after a gap of nearly three weeks.
It had recorded a total of four COVID-19 deaths in October and five in September.
Students of class 10 to 12 in the city are permitted to visit their schools for admission-related work including counselling, guidance and practical activities for board exam.
