Delhi dust storm News
A powerful dust storm swept across Delhi-NCR on May 15, reducing visibility and pushing AQI into 'very poor' zones. IMD forecasts thunderstorms and rising heat.
Private weather forecasting agency Skymet too forecasted pre-Monsoon weather activities in Delhi and adjoining area.
The IMD has warned that dust storm and thunderstorm are likely to hit Delhi and the NCR region on Saturday evening.
According to airport sources, the dust storm caused diversion of three flights, including a Delhi-bound Indigo flight from Chennai, which was re-routed to Lucknow.
Many parts of Delhi-NCR received light rain on Tuesday morning.
The relief in weather is likely to continue until April 10 with rain and thunderstorms occurring at late evening and night.
