Gopal Rai informed that the Aam Aadmi Party-led government will soon launch its Urban Farming Policy. The policy would inculcate the best practices and solutions from across the globe. This plan`s goal is to promote and empower everyone in Delhi to grow their own fruits and vegetables.

The high-level meeting will be chaired by Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai. The meeting will be held at the Delhi Secretariat around noon.

Delhi govt has slammed Centre for 'not responding to letters' over the air pollution situation. Environment Minister Gopal Rai alleged he wrote to Union Minister Bhupender Yadav twice but didn't get any response. 'Centre should not run away from its responsibilities, it should not stay silent,' he said.

"From tomorrow we are starting the "Red Light on Gaadi Off" campaign against the pollution caused by vehicles in Delhi," said Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai.

The Delhi government has already requested Delhi Police commissioner for taking necessary action in implementing an effective ban on any sharp-edged thread for flying kites.
