With 2089 new cases, Delhi's tally of confirmed Covid-19 cases now stands at 1,09,140, the Health Department said on Friday; In the last 24 hours, the Delhi government's Health Department recorded 42 more coronavirus-related deaths and another 2468 recoveries.

The national capital on Saturday recorded 2,505 new COVID-19 cases but, in a good sign, the recovery rate crossed the 70 per cent mark for the first time.

With 2414 fresh cases of coronavirus infection in the national capital, Delhi on Wednesday saw a record single-day spike in COVID-19 cases. According to the Delhi Health Department, there are 47102 active cases in the national capital and total 1904 deaths due to COVID-19 pandemic.
