MCD Election Results 2022: The firebrand Assam BJP leader also asserted that the BJP would perform well in Gujarat, where the counting of votes will be taken up on Thursday. The Assam Chief Minister, however, did not comment on the party's prospects in Himachal Pradesh.

MCD Election Results 2022: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday won the prestigious battle for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), ending the 15 year-rule of the BJP. Kejriwal's AAP has won 134 seats, well past the halfway mark in the 250-member civic body, as against the BJP's 104.  

Delhi MCD Election Results 2022: Buoyed by the MCD poll results, the Punjab Chief Minister, in a lighter vein, said, “Ab To MCD me bhi Jhadu Chalegi (Now, AAP will control the MCD’).” Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who was present on the occasion, hailed Kejriwal’s leadership skills and described him as “Kattar Imandar” politician. 

Delhi MCD Election Results 2022: Celebrations have already started at the Aam Aadmi Party office in the national capital after the trends showed that the party crossed the halfway mark in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections on Wednesday.

The Aam Aadmi Party exuded confidence that it will emerge victorious by winning more than 180 of the total 250 seats in the MCD polls Saurabh Bharadwaj told reporters, "We are going to get more than 180 seats. If voters favour us, we can also cross 230 seats" "Mayor will be from our party. I think exit polls are pointing towards the victory of the Aam Aadmi Party," Bharadwaj added
