Delhi-NCR Rain: Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall lashed parts of Delhi-NCR today (March 30) with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting rain for the next few days.
The IMD has predicted a fresh spell of rainfall and thunderstorm over Northwest, East and Northeast India till April 1.

The traffic moved at a snail's pace on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway, Signature Tower Flyover, and Hero Honda Chowk due to waterlogging.
Light to moderate rainfall was reported in areas such as Mukherjee Nagar, GTB Nagar, Vijay Nagar, Civil Lines, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri and Kashmiri Gate.
Lodhi Road, Jafarpur, Ridge, Ayanagar, Palam, Pitampura, and Jafarpur were among areas that reported light rainfall in the daytime till late evening.
"There will be generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Maximum and minimum temperature of Friday are likely to hover around 31 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively," an IMD official said.
“Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Rajaund, Assandh, Safidon, Jind, Rohtak (Haryana) Khurja (U.P.)..,” said RWFC, New Delhi in a tweet.
“Light intensity rain/drizzle would occur over and adjoining areas of isolated places of Delhi, South-West Delhi, South Delhi ( ), during next 2 hours,” RWFC, New Delhi said in a tweet.
"It would be a generally cloudy sky on Saturday with light to moderate rain/thundershowers. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 33 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively," an IMD official said.
“There will be a generally cloudy sky with moderate rains on Friday and Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Friday are likely to hover around 33 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively," an IMD official said.
