Due to COVID-19 infection, the income of many people has shrunk while several people have lost their jobs so the varsity has decided not to increase the admission fees for students.
Apart from this, DU has also announced a major relief measure for the students.
The students need to note that UG admissions are mostly based on merit (class 12 board exam result).
Admissions in some of the courses in the university are based on entrance examinations.
The admission process of the university will take place between August 2 to 31.
The University of Delhi is beginning its registration process for UG Programmes from August 02.
Interested students can apply till August 31.
The admissions under the second list will commence on Monday 10 am onwards and will end on October 21
Lady Shri Ram College for Women had pegged 100 per cent score for three courses -- BA (Honours) Psychology, BA (Honours) Political Science and BA (Honours) Economics
Seats are available under the three courses with aspirants requiring 99 per cent for BA (Honours) Economics and 99.75 per cent for both BA (Honours) Psychology and BA (Honours) Political Science
Out of the total number of paid registrations, 34,524 students are from the general category, 6,269 from other backward classes, 5,430 from scheduled castes, 920 from scheduled tribes and 778 from economically weaker sections.
