The reports have emerged that the Dengue cases has gone up in Delhi and the NCR region.
Reportedly, there were a total of 412 new cases last week in the capital which is more than twice what was recorded last year in September.
Dengue fever is also known as bone-breaking illness.

Amidst the increasing cases of dengue in Delhi-NCR, now the threat of black fungus is also looming. In Ghaziabad, a person was found suffering from black fungus after dengue. This is the second case of black fungus in NCR.
Delhi has recorded more dengue cases than coronavirus in the last week. The number of patients in the hospitals are continuously increasing.
Dengue and chikungunya are caused by aedes agypti mosquito, which breeds in clear water. Anopheles mosquito, which causes malaria, can breed in both fresh and muddy water.
A 12-year-old boy had succumbed to dengue shock syndrome on August 1 at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here, the first death due to the vector-borne disease reported in the city this year.
At least 79 cases of chikungunya and 24 cases of dengue have been reported in Delhi just three months since January 1, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has said.
This season, many states across the country, including Delhi, are grappling with rising cases of mosquito-borne illnesses, mainly dengue, chikungunya, and malaria.
Delhi government standing counsel Rahul Mehra said the government has started a toll-free helpline for dengue patients.
The dengue outbreak seems to have plateaued in the second week of November with about 280 cases of the disease reported in the national capital, which was this year faced with its worst outbreak of the vector-borne fever since 1996.
The national capital till now has recorded 14,889 cases of dengue, with over 7,200 of them being reported in October only.
The figure for the total number of dengue cases had crossed the 1996-mark on October 10 only with 10,683 people down with the deadly virus.
Out of the total dengue cases this year, north Delhi recorded the highest at 4,833, south Delhi at 3,928 while east Delhi posted the lowest with 2,552 cases.
The total number of dengue cases in the capital has crossed the 12,500 mark, with 32 deaths, municipal authorities admitted earlier this week.
