The Centre is likely to announce the Agnipath recruitment scheme for the defence forces
Under this scheme, troops would be recruited only for four-year tenures
The three service chiefs would address a press conference to announce the details of the scheme
The air defence command is proposed to be set up alongside the Central Command Headquarters of the IAF which controls important air bases including Agra, Gwalior and Bareilly.
