Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee has made it clear that her party will contest all 42 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal. According to the Trinamool leadership, the party leader's message is clear. TMC is talking to the opposition leadership domestically so that the main strong party faces the BJP in most of the states.

Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has received support from the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of Mamata Banerjee for the Delhi Assembly election 2020. TMC national spokesperson Derek O' Brien on Thursday backed AAP in Delhi election and uploaded a video on his Twitter handle in which he endorsed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the candidate from Rajendra Nagar constituency Raghav Chadha and all AAP candidates in the 68 other Assembly seats of the national capital.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Friday said that it has issued a whip to all its Members of Parliament (MPs) directing them to be present in both the Houses for four days, from Monday to Thursday, in anticipation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019 being introduced by the government.
