Abdul Rauf Daud Merchant, the convicted killer of Indian music baron Gulshan Kumar, and an alleged aide of Dubai-based Indian underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, has been released from Dhaka Central Jail, media reports said on Monday.

Fundamentalist Jamaat-e-Islami chief Motiur Rahman Nizami will be executed on Tuesday night after he refused to seek presidential clemency for war crimes committed during Bangladesh's 1971 Liberation War against Pakistan, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said.
They had sought presidential clemency admitting their guilt.
