Delhi Capitals CEO Dhiraj Malhotra heaped praises on head coach Ricky Ponting, who brings vast experience to the side, and called him the `most motivating person`.
With Ponting at the helm, the Capitals reached the IPL playoffs last season with several youngsters rising to the occasion.
The former Australia skipper, Ponting, captained his side to two World Cup titles in 2003 and 2007.
IPL 2020 is scheduled to take place between September 19 and November 10 in the UAE.

An important area of focus for DC will be the batting order now that Rahane has come in and has generally batted successfully at the top of the order. DC already have Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw at the top. But the CEO says all match related calls will be taken by Ponting and the coaching team.

Malhotra has an experience of more than 24 years that includes working with ICC, WMG and IMG among others.
