All Central Government pensioners can now submit a Life Certificate until February 28, 2022.
During this extended period, the Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs) will continue to pay the pension in full.
The submission of Digital Life Certificates by retirees began on October 1, 2021.
That gives you some time to complete it, but you no longer need to go to a LIC office or agent to do so.
LIC pensioners can get their digital life certificates done from the comfort of their own homes using their Aadhaar cards.

Before awarding pensions, the government and insurance companies advise producing this certificate, which is normally required once a year.
Life certificates can be electronically submitted through the Jeevan Pramaan website (https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/) or the app.
Retirement fund body EPFO has launched pilot projects that will eventually lead to a nationwide facility for pensioners to submit digital life certificates through mobile phones.
