Harmanpreet Singh scored a brace while Vivek Sagar Prasad, Amit Rohidas, and Dilpreet Singh scored a goal each to help India stun Belgium. They had lost the first match 2-1.

India, who have already sealed a semifinal berth, thus end the round-robin stage of the five-nation tournament at the top of the standings with 10 points ahead of Korea (6), Japan (5), Pakistan (2) and hosts Bangladesh (0).

 Striker Dilpreet Singh slammed a hat-trick as defending champions and Olympic bronze-medallists India thrashed hosts Bangladesh 9-0 to register their first win in the Asian Champions Trophy men's hockey tournament here on Wednesday.

A well-oiled Indian unit had raised hopes of making the semifinals for the first time since 1975 but the Dutch side broke a million hearts by coming from behind to knock out the hosts 2-1 in the last-eight clash.

As per the rules of the six-nation tournament, the top two teams from the round robin stage will play in the final.

In fact, it is Australia against whom India lost in a shoot-out in the final of the last Champions Trophy in London. And that result would definitely be on the Indian players' minds when they take the turf on Wednesday.

India scored four field goals with comeback man Ramandeep Singh (26th and 60th minutes) scoring a brace. Dilpreet Singh (54th) and Mandeep Singh (57th) were the other scorers in Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament on Saturday.

The Indian men's hockey team produced a spirited performance to upstage world No.3 Belgium 5-4 in its second match of the Four Nations Invitational tournament's second leg here on Thursday.

India will now face Britain in their fifth match on Saturday.

Dilpreet was named Man-of-the-Match for all-round performance which also saw him register a hat-trick with two goals in the second half (53rd and 68th).
