Resident doctors called off the 15-day long strike
The doctors resumed all work by noon today
AIIMS Resident Doctors Association (RDA) has called for a strike on December 29 including the shutdown of all non-emergency services if no "adequate" response from the government is received over alleged police brutality in the protest march.
The resident doctors of medical colleges in Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer, Jhalawar, Bikaner and Jodhpur are on strike.
The junior doctors are demanding an unconditional apology from Banerjee before talks.
The PIL was filed by Kunal Saha of People for Better Treatment.
Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Friday met a delegation of doctors from AIIMS and other top hospitals.
A team of doctors from AIIMS and other hospitals will also meet Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan around 11 AM to demand better conditions and more security for doctors.
