PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold an informal summit in China's Wuhan city from April 27 to 28.
In a jibe at PM Modi and Sushma Swaraj, Congress spokesperson said that the government was snoozing while the Chinese troops occupied the Doklam plateau as suggested by satellite images.
"The past year has been tremendous for the force. The SSB has increased its strength after the Dokalam standoff with China, by creating more border outposts near Sikkim and Bhutan border," Singh said.
The bilateral ties went through a serious test after Indian border troops "illegally trespassed" into the Chinese territory in June, Wang told Swaraj yesterday.
India and China resolved the 73-day tense standoff on August 28 at Dokalam area after PLA stopped building a strategic road close to India's Chicken Neck area.
The Chennai-Bangalore-Mysore corridor, a 492 km stretch, lies in limbo because the Chinese railways has failed to respond to the ministry's communiques.
Bhutan and China have a dispute over Dokalam, a strategically key area at the Bhutan-India-China trijunction in the Sikkim sector.
The issue of stand-off at Dokalam did not figure during the meetings between PM Modi and his Nepalese counterpart.
