India’s newest and most modern airline, Shankh Air, is set to revolutionise air travel with the launch of its first flight in May 2025. With its headquarters in Lucknow, this airline will connect Uttar Pradesh's capital city to Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai.

Domestic airlines will be permitted to operate at 100 percent. Currently, the cap on domestic flight capacity is set at 85 percent.

A GoAir spokesperson said that it has already "factored in" this type of scenario and that the airline will review its earlier scheme of providing rescheduling free of cost at a later date while protecting their existing bookings for one year.
