Ahead of board exams in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' session with students appearing in the exam, teachers and parents.
This year the session will be conducted virtually, which increases the reach of the event.
PM Narendra Modi will be addressing the session virtually and will reach students across the world.
The selected participants will participate in the programme online from their respective State and UT headquarters
They will be presented with a special PPC kit (ParikshaPeCharcha kit)
The portal for online creative writing competition will remain open till 14th March 2021, Pokhriyal added
Pokhriyal announced the UGC guidelines on the academic calendar for the first year of UG and PG students of the universities for the session 2020-21 in view of COVID-19 pandemic
The admissions to the first-year programmes for the session 2020-21 will be completed by the end of October 2020
The last date for admissions to fill up the remaining vacant seats shall be November 30, 2020, said the ministry of education
Outlining the efforts of his ministry in safeguarding the future of students, Ramesh Pokhriyal emphasized the steps taken with regard to the new academic calendar and virtual mode of education.

The AICTE and UGC maintain a list of fake universities and unapproved institutions on their websites, Union HRD Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said on Thursday.
