The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully intercepted two Pakistani drones carrying 1.13 kg of heroin in Amritsar, Punjab.   

During the interrogation, it came to light that one of the arrested accused manufactured the drug at a laboratory situated in the Mahad industrial area of neighbouring Raigad, an official said.

Anantnag Police seized properties worth Rs 1.5 crore under the NDPS Act in a crackdown on drug peddlers.

Two people, residents of Delhi and Sonipat, were arrested in the case.

Police have seized over 8 kg heroin, 6 kg opium, 13.1 kg chemical and four pistols along with 17 cartridges from their possession, said Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav on Friday.

The STF in Assam seized drugs worth Rs 6 crore which were smuggled from Manipur and arrested two persons including a drug peddler. 

According to officials, cops recovered 625 grams of heroin and five 5 kg of cannabis, worth Rs 2.52 crore, from their possession.  

In the latest drug bust, the Delhi Police and Gujarat Police seized 518 kilograms of cocaine worth Rs 5,000 crore in Gujarat. 

Delhi Police seized 200 kilograms of cocaine valued at approximately ₹2,000 crore in west Delhi, an official reported on Thursday evening.

Authorities seized Rs 1,814 crore worth of MD drug and raw materials from a Bhopal factory in a joint operation by Gujarat ATS and NCB.

Italy Police have confiscated 14 metric tonnes (15.4 US tonnes) of amphetamines allegedly produced by the ISIS in Syria. It is the largest drug bust in the world in terms of both value and quantity, CNN reported.
