In a breakthrough in the ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking, the Hanumangarh Police in Rajasthan have seized 268.6 grams of heroin (commonly known as chitta) valued at approximately Rs 1 crore in the international market.

The Border Security Force seized around 10 kg of heroin worth about Rs 50 crore
The BSF and Punjab Police Special Task Force arrested two people
A search operation was carried out after the two accused told their interrogators that they had hidden the contraband drug

With these arrests, a nexus of drug traffickers was exposed and their attempt to smuggle the contraband foiled, Virender Yadav, zonal director of Jammu NCB said.
