Cricket Australia has announced the 14-member squads for the Australia A team’s tour of India in September-October 2025. The tour will feature two four-day matches in Lucknow and three one-day games in Kanpur. 

Fresh off his impressive stint as India’s Test captain during the Anderson‑Tendulkar Trophy, Shubman Gill has been appointed the captain of North Zone for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2025–26, set to begin on August 28 in Bengaluru. 

Hyderabad opener Tanmay Agarwal, who scored 934 runs in seven matches during Hyderabad’s return to the Elite group, was also selected. The 22-year-old left-handed batter has been in excellent form during his maiden County stint with Hampshire since last month. Devdutt Pakdikkal and R Sai Kishore also in the team.

The ongoing edition is of immense importance as a lot of cricketers will be eyeing a spot in the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh later this month.
