Ed national herald case News
A court here on Monday reserved its verdict on the question of taking cognisance of the prosecution complaint filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the alleged National Herald money laundering case.
The protest was held near the Congress House in Panaji, with BJP workers shouting slogans against Rahul Gandhi and burning his effigy.
The Congress party then staged protests on Wednesday in front of ED offices at the district level in various states against the saffron party-led government.
The probe agency has served the notices to the property registrars on April 11, per Section 8 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, and Rule 5(1) of the associated rules.
Smriti Irani has attacked the leaders and workers who came out in support of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that Gandhi is trying to save the property of the family.
