ED summons News

The summons came after the ED registered a case against 29 celebrities, based on an FIR filed by the Cyberabad Police in Hyderabad. 

Replying to Delhi HC, ED said "we will reply and we oppose it on maintainability grounds". Court fixed the hearing for April 22, 2024.

There is not much time left for the Lok Sabha elections. Assembly elections are also to be held in Rajasthan next month. Meanwhile, ED came into action amidst election excitement in the state. ED has issued a summons to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot in a money laundering case.

Mahadev Betting App Case: ED has sent summons to famous artist Hina Khan along with Huma Qureshi, Kapil Sharma and Shraddha Kapoor in the Mahadev Betting App case. On the other hand, after summoning famous actor Ranbir Kapoor, he has asked for about two weeks' time.

The ED registered a case against Jahan, a Bengali actor, related to her association as a director with a shady financial entity which allegedly duped senior citizens of several crores of rupees by promising them residential flats at reasonable rates.

The ED has reportedly summoned former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister for questioning in the Rs 113 crore scam allegedly carried out when Abdullah was the chairman of the J&K Cricket Association.

The central probe agency had registered a case against him and others in May last year.

The Apex Court has posted the matter for further hearing to January first week.
