The announcement was made at the Momentum Jharkhand Investors Summit in Ranchi and the MoU for investment will be inked between the state government and Essel Infraprojects Ltd.

Essel Green Energy, owns 160 MW of solar IPP assets in four states, of which, 110 MW is operational and 50 MW is currently under execution.
The Consortium also signed another MoU with the government for setting up a Smart Industrial Park in the State.
Essel Group has signed an initial agreement with the Rajasthan government for setting up solar parks at Bikaner and Jaisalmer at a total investment of Rs 4,000 crore.
