The Evacuee Trust Property Board, which monitors the functioning of the PSGPC, has suspected financial discrepancies in the offerings made by the devotees in the Gurdwaras of the country. 

Pakistan government has once again appointed a Muslim as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of  Project Management Unit (PMU) which was formed last year.

While talking to Zee News, Vankwani alleged that ETPB was knee-deep in corruption and had given several Gurdwara and temples on lease to private parties. Vankwani is also the Member National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan PM Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party

The Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) lost management of the gurdwara Kartarpur, as it has been replaced by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) of Pakistan. India condemned the decision and termed it "unilateral" and said the decision hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community.
