HP Inc led the market with a share of 29 per cent, topping the charts in both commercial and consumer segments with shares of 34.3 per cent and 24.8 per cent, respectively. 

Flipkart said it saw more than 33 crore user visits on its platform during Early Access and Day 1 combined during the ‘Big Billion Days 2024’, reflecting festive enthusiasm from shoppers from across the country.

Driven by consumers in tier 2 and 3 cities, online retailers in India are set to generate about $9.2 billion in sales during the 2021 festive month. Around 75 million online buyers are set to participate during this festive season, of which 50 million will come from tier-2 cities and beyond. Flipkart said it saw a 40 per cent growth in early access for Flipkart Plus customers as compared to last year, as flipkart kicked off 8th edition of 'The Big Billion Days' (TBBD) festive sales.

Amazon and Flipkart, e-tailers in India achieved a record $3 billion (nearly Rs 19,000 crore) of Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) in the first six days of the festive sale from September 29-October 4.

"Thanks to the phenomenal customer response to our range of products, including all the new launches, the 1 million unit landmark was achieved during the 35-day festive period starting with the Navratras," Hero MotoCorp Ltd said in a statement.
