Film shooting News
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on Sunday (August 23) announced new standard operating procedures (SOP) for film and television programme shooting.
He said that the new SOP will help in maintaining a safe environment for those involved in the shooting.
Shooting for film and television programmes had been stopped from March 2020, owing to the coronavirus pandemic and the ensuing lockdown.
The move follows several appeals from the film industry and a delegation of Bollywood bigwigs who called on Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in this regard last week.
Unconfirmed reports had been doing the rounds since last evening, especially on WhatsApp, specifying names of office bearers of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and stating that shooting of TV serials shall start around June-end.
In the film, Anushka will be seen essaying the role of a woman who earns her living by embroidering clothes while Varun plays a tailor.
Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali recently shot a portion of his upcoming movie with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma at the renowned RK Studious in Chembur.
