Floods in UP News

Due to unseasonal heavy rains in UP, flood-like situation has arisen in more than 16 districts. Somewhere the rivers are flowing above the danger mark and at some places people are forced to leave their homes and go to safer places.

Flood-like situation has arisen in UP due to continuous heavy rain. Due to the flood, there have been potholes on the roads and somewhere the crops have been submerged in water. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has distributed relief material to deal with this situation.

Just like floods in India are not a big deal. Similarly, drowning of the system in flood water is also not a big deal. These days, 21 districts of UP are submerged in floods due to heavy rains. Incessant rains have increased the problems of the people in Uttar Pradesh. Many areas are in the grip of floods. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reached out to the flood victims to know their condition.

In Uttar Pradesh, it is raining like a disaster and flood-like situation has happened in many districts. Crops have also been destroyed in some areas. Today, CM Yogi Adityanath will conduct an aerial tour of 5 districts to take stock of the situation.

"The deparments concerned should start necessary preventive works to protect villages from floods and funds will be provided to them. Our government is serious on the issue and will ensure that the affected get necessary relief," the chief minister said in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly.

Several districts in Uttar Pradesh are reeling under flood as incessant rain has wreaked havoc, crippling normal life, and obstructing road transportation. 

Several villages in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh have been flooded and dozens more are threatened following the breaching of Elgin-Charsari embankment by the swollen Ghaghra river, officials said on Tuesday.
